Purpose
Practice a small, controlled outward movement of the foot, allowing the arch to rise slightly while maintaining stability.
How to perform
Slowly guide the foot outward through a small range. Allow the arch to rise slightly while keeping the big toe in contact with the board, then return to neutral with control.
Duration
8–10 slow reps per foot
Coaching cues
- Keep the big toe in contact with the board
- Allow the arch to rise slightly
- Avoid rolling completely onto the outside of the foot
- Move through the foot and ankle, not the whole body
