Purpose

Build foot and ankle control under body weight using small, precise movements around the center.

How to perform

Maintain contact through the heel, base of the big toe and base of the little toe. Use small foot-and-ankle corrections to keep the board close to level and return smoothly toward the center.

Duration

20–30 seconds per foot

Coaching cues

  • Keep three points of contact with the board
  • Use small, precise corrections
  • Keep the knee relaxed and aligned with the toes
  • Avoid gripping the board with the toes

Training level

This exercise is presented as one focused progression.

Once the standard setup feels consistently controlled, progress to the triangular bars for a greater stability challenge.
